The Ride Allegheny Gnome is a legendary creature characterized by its very small size, subterranean lifestyle, comical hat and magical powers that can make people feel sad or happy. During the day they roam the earth as toads or are suspended in time as stone figures but at night they are mischievous sprites dedicated to merriment and a good craic. The various Gnomes that you may or may not see along the trail are there for your protection and safe passage. Though I must warn you Gnomes are dedicated guardians of Mother Earth and they are both to be treated with respect or bad things will happen to the offender.

The Gnome Nook will be dedicated to the lighter side of Ride Allegheny with periodic updates on fun facts of the ride including unique sights and jargon such as the Spouting Enigma, Endorphin Pavilion, The Black-Footed Gasser, Wing Ding and Cake Boys. Please stay tuned for fun ahead.
