RA11 Hotel Accommodations and Meals
Riders are responsible for making their own reservations for the designated hotels in Pittsburgh, Cumberland and Hagerstown where we have RA group rates by calling the hotels directly using the phone numbers provided below. Riders seeking a roommate can visit our roommate finder page on Facebook. Once you register, you will receive an invitation to join the Facebook group. You are free to stay in other hotels but you will be responsible for transport to and from the designated hotels. For Ohiopyle, your room and dinner is included in your reservation fee.
To obtain the group rates, reservations need to be made by September 1, 2011.
Pittsburgh PA- October 5, 2011
We will be staying at the Marriott Courtyard 401 West Waterfront Drive · West Homestead (Pittsburgh), PA. You and your bike will be delivered to the hotel on Wednesday night and after check-in, dinner will be on your own. There are numerous restaurants in the area from which to choose and don’t be shy about teaming up with people for dinner. Breakfast will be at the hotel the next morning prior to the ride and is included in the rate.

Night 1 Ohiopyle PA –October 6, 2011
We will be staying in several guest houses and the Yough Plaza hotel. Houses/rooms will be assigned upon registration (with females provided a separate house). Dinner will be arranged that evening at www.ohiopylehousecafe.com and is included in your registration fee – a cash bar will be available. Breakfast will be at Falls Market in Ohiopyle prior to the “waterfall” picture.
Day 2 Lunch will be available along the trail in Meyersdale at the G.I. Day Restaurant and other local restaurants.
Night 2 Cumberland MD-October 7, 2011
We have two options in Cumberland, the Holiday Inn and the Fairfield by Marriott, both are right off of the trail. Dinner will be on your own, but we will make reservations for several large groups at multiple restaurants if you wish to dine with the group. Breakfast will be at the hotel the next morning prior to the ride and is included in the cost.

Day 3 Lunch The SAG wagon will provide snacks at Paw Paw tunnel and lunch will be available along the trail at Weavers Restaurant in Hancock and other local restaurants.
Night 3 Hagerstown MD-October 8, 2011
We will be staying at the Plaza Hotel near the Valley Mall in Hagerstown, about 7 miles from the trail (Directions). We have arranged for a buffet dinner to be served at the hotel (approx. $20/person) or you can go out on your own for dinner. Breakfast will be at the hotel the next morning prior to the ride and is included in the rate.
